Titolo originale: Over Rev!
Autore: Katsumi Yamaguchi & Team39
Anno di pubblicazione: 1997
Casa editrice: Shogakukan, Weekly Young Sunday
Numero volumi disponibili: 3/31

Trama:

[Omnicat] <Nyaa> We will of course be playing Star Citizen. If you have a game package, you can join our subversion efforts right here. See you in the 'verse!
[08-29, 20:05] <lifebaka> More generally, native English speakers frequently butcher the supposed "rules" of the language. And ain't no one give no fucks about it. So when we're discussing dialogue, what people actually say and how it sounds is more important that what is or is not "correct English."
[08-29, 20:04] <Stinky Cheez> "Try googling "you want I should" (INCLUDING quotes)
[08-29, 20:03] <Stinky Cheez> It can also be heard from Yiddish-influenced speakers.
[08-29, 20:03] <lifebaka> Well, xell17, that isn't grammatically correct (in a strict sense), but it's also a construction that people actually use. So it might not be a bad translation.
[08-29, 20:02] <Stinky Cheez> And "You want I should kill him?" is old-school thuggish sytnax, nothing more, often implying a Mob or (especially) Mafia speaker. It's NOT inappropriate for that context.
[08-29, 20:01] <Stinky Cheez> LOL - Snoot away. Funny, how MPC-HC's own devs say otherwise, and additionally are you not aware madVR and xy-subfilter are external to MPC-HC..? Try to stay consistent in your trolling, FFS.
[08-29, 19:53] <[TRVE]> Besides, superior media players such as MPC-HC or mpv are updated very frequently which means they can implement any decoder updates almost instantly. Have fun with your months-old separate decoder.
[08-29, 19:47] <[TRVE]> If you absolutely must use the media player that your OS provides, go ahead. Have fun dealing with its issues, though.
[08-29, 19:45] <[TRVE]> (No, xell17, it is not.)
[08-29, 19:41] <[TRVE]> Er... no? That was the case several years ago, when DivX was still a thing. Nowadays everything works with ffmpeg/libavcodec, separate decoders have become obsolete.
[08-29, 19:26] <xell17> http://www.batoto.net/read/_/93161/oyaji_v1_ch1_by_slayerjr/9 "You want I should kill him?" Is this even grammaticaly correct? I'm not a native speaker but this sounds really dumb.
[08-29, 19:22] <Stinky Cheez> TRVUE, very often (in fact, quite often), external codecs are *superior* to the internal codecs in "codec agnostic" media players. Furthermore, downloading the codec pack enables playback in other media players (both video and audio). Don't be such an obvious snob - lol...
[08-29, 19:17] <[TRVE]> This is a real man. Fuck Goku and everyone else.
[08-29, 19:15] <hazardous> Goku = real man :p
[08-29, 19:11] <[TRVE]> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wd1-HM234DE
[08-29, 19:00] <3rdPGray> Right. let's leave it at that. I don't think I have the nerve to type something like that with a straight face...
[08-29, 18:57] <jofs> @3rdPGray: Intelligence and tasteful clothes. Of course.
[08-29, 18:54] <3rdPGray> that makes me wonder... what defines a "real" men.. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
[08-29, 18:52] <3rdPGray> (@¿@)
[08-29, 18:45] <jofs> Rozen Maiden. Anime for real men
[08-29, 18:22] <3rdPGray> and if you think that I only watch gay porn, you should go to the "other" nyaa site and see the chatbox.
[08-29, 18:19] <3rdPGray> no, I'm not.. and dude, go troll somewhere else.
[08-29, 18:17] <[TRVE]> (In other words: you only watch gay porn, right?)
[08-29, 18:16] <[TRVE]> Let me guess, that image is you watching only manly anime for manly men such as yourself?
[08-29, 18:11] <3rdPGray> well, of course that still doesn't keep me from watching some anime... like Mahouka for example
[08-29, 18:06] <3rdPGray> oops, you replied while I was typing. :p
[08-29, 18:05] <3rdPGray> well I'll answer it anyway, since I think you're talking to me. :p I've watched Gungrave (loved it and its ps2 game), sCRYed, and Last Exile. the others on your list I haven't watched. but I saw pumpkin scissors and tokko there and I know that those anime have female character as their protagonist, which I don't watch. I know I'm picky, but it's just hard for me to watch a harem anime (or anime with female protagonist). I have an image to keep. :p
[08-29, 17:56] <hazardous> yes
[08-29, 17:55] <Røckageek> Nyaa pls
[08-29, 17:47] <3rdPGray> hmm? you talking to me, by any chance? @hazardous
[08-29, 17:43] <[TRVE]> That reason is (was?) mainly huge update intervals. Video decoders can become outdated really fast and the codec pack just can't keep up. You'd have to update everything manually.
[08-29, 17:42] <Dat Size> Which is better, using a codec pack or installing manually?
[08-29, 17:38] <[TRVE]> KCP is retarded. Plus, it's a codec pack. A codec pack usually replaces the decoders that the entire OS uses and adds new ones, which results in numerous installers cluttering the registry. Players that come with their own decoders, like MPC, mplayer and all its forks and, yes, VLC, too, don't need that. They even don't need an installation, you can usually just take a portable version and it should play just fine. Anyway, codec packs can work fine, but you're being discouraged from using them for a reason.
[08-29, 17:33] <hazardous> also gungrave, last exile, mars daybreak, pumpkin scissors, solty rei, tokko, the third, xamd
[08-29, 17:30] <hazardous> did you watch Scryed?
[08-29, 17:26] <Artemix> Yeah I think it could have been Soul Eater.. what an amazing anime, I wish they remake/continue it some day..
[08-29, 17:10] <3rdPGray> *sigh* i think I've watched all action anime that isn't harem... there's so few of them..
[08-29, 17:05] <Dragons4life> So why does KCP installs them? or i am drunk?
[08-29, 16:47] <kanade♥♥> Can't find honeyworks's new album....
[08-29, 16:12] <Dat Size> Soul Eater?
[08-29, 16:06] <Artemix> The Gintama opening, at least the first one, it sounds very similar to another opening/ending I watched some time ago.. maybe the same band?.
[08-29, 15:55] <dungeoneer> does anyone know where I can find a copy of Princess Rouge (only 2 episodes)?
[08-29, 15:53] <dungeoneer> greetings and salutations
[08-29, 15:25] <[TRVE]> That's because LAV Filters are already part of MPC-HC.
[08-29, 15:13] <Dragons4life> I also wonder why Nyaa's guide, does't have LAV Filters.
[08-29, 15:12] <Dragons4life> Idk why, but later in MPC-HC it was giving English/Jap audio on this video. and not in PotPlayer, but now it's not giving it to me in neither. weird.
[08-29, 15:02] <CrossRyuu> bull
[08-29, 14:40] <MangaFamily> 'sup
[08-29, 14:30] <hazardous> xy-SubFilter is for madVR
[08-29, 14:29] <Dragons4life> Thank you.
[08-29, 14:27] <[TRVE]> Or even better, post no. 4.
[08-29, 14:25] <[TRVE]> Read the first post of this, Dragons4life.
[08-29, 14:15] <Dragons4life> Whats the difference between xy-VSFilter and xy-SubFilter, i don't understand they both do the same thing or is one different from the other? i am trying to do Nyaa's playback guide.
[08-29, 13:49] <hazardous> Titans were REAL!!!
[08-29, 13:40] <Senfu> Omnicat pls
[08-29, 13:17] <()blivion> Lastly.... I know/knew what FFT is. *I* was telling *YOU*.
[08-29, 13:17] <()blivion> And, of course, cell towers are tier 1 and fucking everywhere.
[08-29, 13:14] <()blivion> The limitation for most internet services is the last mile to the home. Your average cell tower is fed with fiber optic or line of sight microwave; something like in excess of 1Gbps.
[08-29, 13:09] <shaddrag> How will I find the Shrek video now
[08-29, 13:08] <shaddrag> I miss the old stickies
[08-29, 12:57] <paulo27ms> Nyaa was saved and the stickies were kill
[08-29, 12:19] <Dat Size> Nice sticky you got there, Nyaa-sama.
[08-29, 12:17] <[TRVE]> I was aiming for something like this.
[08-29, 12:14] <[TRVE]> Uuuh no. Not quite...
[08-29, 12:14] <[TRVE]> /ヽ__/ヽ

[08-29, 12:13] <[TRVE]> \ /
[08-29, 11:52] <[TRVE]> lol
[08-29, 11:03] <jofs> magic happened
[08-29, 10:54] <3rdPGray> hmm? what happened to the stickies?
[08-29, 10:44] <3rdPGray> lol, I got 0.77Mb/s Speed from that site... not very accurate, my download speed is 0.8MB/s
[08-29, 10:12] <mirrorin> talk about ISP, this is my ISP connection speed, not bad for Southeast Asia connection speed :D
[08-29, 09:56] <LigerNyan> No Psycho pass extended too?
[08-29, 09:19] <galof3> well, that discards something xD
[08-29, 09:18] <MisterDonut> yes
[08-29, 09:18] <galof3> Am I the only one whose RSS are not working?
[08-29, 09:13] <hazardous> i see face at start of ED of Persona 4 Golden. is that hitler? or just me?
[08-29, 09:08] <fated_wings> what patch means?
[08-29, 09:08] <fated_wings> excuse me
[08-29, 08:56] <Ikusa> I'm on 1 Gbps line of my university; it'll be quite costly when I go out as a 20 Mbps dedicated cable (uncapped) costs $300/month
[08-29, 08:32] <Abunja> Have a good one, Stinky.
[08-29, 08:26] <Stinky Cheez> Anyway, good night, my wife is glaring at me (insufficient snuggling) =)
[08-29, 08:25] <Stinky Cheez> *shrug* But still, even 350 KB/s down is enough for me to get by, as I said before. I still, however, think it's pretty funny that my father-in-law's connection is about 80% faster up than down. I've simply never seen any asynchronous (different up than down rates) connection that acted that way.
[08-29, 08:21] <Stinky Cheez> FiOS, and even better, Google fiber are way faster, sure (and even Comcast has 50 mbit on cable in some markets), but those aren't widespread as of yet.
[08-29, 08:21] <Abunja> Oh, I thought you were talking about like it was some years ago. I just lol'ed
[08-29, 08:20] <Stinky Cheez> 22-28 mbit is reasonably common near urban areas on the east and west coast of the US (with some, of course, much faster or slower), but 8-18 mbit is far more common in secondary and tertiary markets. The numbers get worse for DSL/ADSL.
[08-29, 08:18] <Stinky Cheez> Eh? No my connection with Antietam was about 1-1/2 month ago - lol. I doubt much has changed; I just moved, is all.
[08-29, 08:18] <Senfu> Oh boy TRVE is German, I did not know that. Verdammt ;)
[08-29, 08:17] <Abunja> But that was some long time ago, and internet speed improves every time. That $67/mo. subscription probably had better speed as of today.
[08-29, 08:17] <Stinky Cheez> It's not really the same subject, but that reminds me of back when my dad and I had just finished adding an 80 MB (yes, MB) HD to a PC-AT in his office, and someone else asked, "But what will you ever do with all that space?" We both stared at him like he was the idiot he was. More capacity is ALWAYS better, assuming you can afford it.
