THANK YOU. Now, I wont have to bitterly complain about the West never getting anything good (well, that's a lie, I might still complain). But thanks anyway.

Because of all the drama on this site regarding which release of this movie is better, I ended up downloading the 1080p releases of it from REVO, Commie, Zorori-Project, and AnimeNow, and watched them all and compared them (watching it once was great, and watching it twice was ok, but the third and fourth time got pretty boring...)...I'm not the type to notice what I consider minor differences in video quality (I don't care if you detail freaks call me blind or whatever) when I'm actually watching the movie (and not stopping it and zooming in to look for small details lol), so I didn't really spot anything. I watched these on a 42" LCD TV. The sound also sounded great to my ears, in all of the releases. So I'm going to recommend based on the one field in these releases where I DID notice a substantial difference, and that was in the subs (and this is an area I always value over video quality anyway, and I'm quite picky about it).

Commie's subs are by far the best ones imo. Zorori's were so-and-so/ok, and AnimeNOW's were the poorest. And since REVO's release includes subs from all of these groups, with Commie's set to default, I'd say go with REVO if you're a hardcore video quality guy, and/or can spot a difference, or go with Commie if you can't really see any difference, or don't really care that much about having the "perfect" video quality release, and would rather save some gigabytes of space. You'll still get a good package either way. Of course, some of you might actually like Commie's version better, since they don't preserve grain like REVO does. ┐( ̄_ ̄)┌ Anyway, I ended up going with REVO, but I would have been fine with Commie's release as well. The other two I was less satisfied with. This is of course all my subjective oppinion, so feel free to disagree, but please don't flame me.

@Rokudaime: Commie's may be the best out of all the 3, but they were not the best in terms of english sub quality. There were quite a few mistranslations and grammar error, for which Zorori's subs actually had some(not all) of them correct instead. And even AnimeNow had one line that was correct, when Commie and Zorori didn't get it right.

Well nothing much we can do till a better translation comes out in the future.
